March is Reading Month

Read a book, write a short book review, and submit it to staff at the circulation desk to receive a prize. All book reviews will be placed in a folder for others to view. For children ages 4 - 18. 


Family Learning Night: Laboratory Adventures

6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 

Join us for a Family Learning night with a focus on the Big Read selection, Lab Girl by Hope Jahren. Conducting laboratory experiments, we'll investigate states of matter-- solids, liquids, and gases. There will be hands-on activities for children and teens.  Renowned inventor Tiberious T. Tiger from Animal Capers will host the event.

Poetry Month: Create a Poem

April 1, 2020- April 30, 2020

April is Poetry Month, so get your paper and pen out and create a poem. Turn your poem in at the circulation desk. The top two poems, selected by library staff, will  receive a prize. All poems will be displayed in the library. Children and adults are invited to participate.
