Group Study Rooms

Caroline Kennedy Library has four study rooms available to the public on a first come, first served basis. Use of a study room requires a valid library card, current driver's license or State ID. Study rooms are reserved at the Circulation Desk. 

Group Study 1: Seats 8-10. No food. Covered beverages only. No excessive noise.

Group Study 2: Seats 8-10. No food. Covered beverages only. No excessive noise.

Group Study 3: Seats 1 - 3. No food. Covered beverages only. No excessive noise. 

Group Study 4: Seats 1 - 3. No food. Covered beverages only. No excessive noise. 


Program Rooms

Caroline Kennedy Library has three program rooms. Program rooms are reserved at the Reference Desk, and are available to use during regular library hours when not needed for library programs. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis.

Full Program Room: Seats 80 or can be split into two rooms of 50 and 30. May be used when not needed for library programs. Food and drink is allowed (no alcohol). No excessive noise.

Youth Program Room: Seats 10-20. May be used when not needed for library programs. Food and drink is allowed. No excessive noise.

Reservations must be made by an officer of the organization and they may be asked to show proof of residency or non-profit status.

Fees

City residents using a program room for a civic purpose (ex., Home Owners Association or Union): FREE City businesses needing a meeting room: $35/hour All other groups: $50/hour All fees are due before the meeting date and time. Unless a catastrophe prohibits use of the room, fees are non-refundable.

Meeting Room Conditions and Rules

The following rules and regulations apply when using a meeting room. Abuse of these rules could jeopardize a reservation and/or lead to disciplinary action against the group:

  • No Smoking

  • No Alcohol

  • Meeting rooms must be cleaned after use

  • Do not vandalize the room or any other part of the library

  • The person reserving the room will be held responsible for any damages

  • Groups should be courteous to other library patrons and library staff

  • The library is not responsible for theft or loss of items left on the premises

  • All parties using the room are expected to abide by local, state and federal law

  • Additional rules may apply.

  • Ejection from the library for abuse of the above rules does not merit a refund

  • If it is a large gathering please allow time to set up and take down a room.
