Library-on-the-Go: Library Delivery at Your Door

In order to further enhance our services, we are offering home delivery of materials to Dearborn Heights residents.

To participate:

1) Use the catalog on our website at https://www.dhcl.michlibrary.org, call our libraries during operating hours, or e-mail us at dhreference@gmail.com what you would like to put on hold. Our staff will then pull the material or request it from another library.
2) When you get notice via text, e-mail, or phone that your material has arrived, call us to let us know what day is good for drop-off. We are currently delivering on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
3) Staff will then check out the items to your library card and prepare them for delivery on the day specified.
4) We also will do pickup of library materials (no donations at this time). You can call and request pickup during the time slots listed above.

If you choose to participate in Home Delivery, please note:

• Patrons are responsible for any items damaged due to weather or theft as always, so be responsible and bag them where possible.
• Be alert for items you request via drop off.
• You must be a Dearborn Heights Resident.
• Limit is 20 items.
• Staff reserves the right to refuse delivery if conditions prohibit safe drop off or pick up. We will call if delivery has been cancelled or postponed.
• Hotspots are not eligible for delivery.
